As you know, in the United States, when you're a student in university, you get benefits, whether it be in certain events or, like, movies, small... anything, just little benefits, things like that. And your parents can file you for a dependent. But when you lose the student status, all that gets lost as well. So Greek students, what do they do? They purposely fail their exams in order to prolong their education term during university.
American swimmer loses sponsorships amid controversy
Well, it looks like swimmer Ryan Lochte's week did not quite start off on the right note. "Well, doesn't it? Lochte lost a number of sponsorships after distorting his story about him vandalizing a gas station in Brazil to turn the blame to the locals. Speedo speedily dropped him; the UK-based swimwear manufacturer announced the decision on both Twitter and Facebook, and this is part of the announcement: 'We cannot condone behavior that is counter to the values this brand has long stood for.' The company plans to donate $50,000 from Lochte's fee to a children's charity in Brazil."
