What were you like as a child?(3/3)
I found out when I was only in Year 1 at school - so I would have been maybe six, seven years old - I found out that I love writing stories. Somebody sat me down in front of a computer and I typed out my first story. I loved picking all the fonts and things to make the letters look like something from a horror story, and all the little pictures that I could add to the story as well to make it look kind of like a really exciting book to me at the time. I think the plotline, the storyline, wasn't anything much; it was probably all, kind of crazy things just happening one after another.
Pyeongchang aims for smooth construction of Olympic venue
Organizers of the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea are working to avoid the criticisms of delays and disorganization that had plagued the Rio Games. VOA's Britan Padden visited the Pyeongchang region that will host the Games, and reports that construction is proceeding on schedule on new sporting venues and infrastructure projects that make up the majority of the $12 billion budget for this sports event. "Construction crews in Pyeongchang are working to complete the new Olympic stadium, the bobsled track and other facilities. The ski jump tower is already in place.
